SIFA (Sweden India Film Association) – a non-profit organization was founded in 2004. It is dedicated to promoting cultural and financial exchange between the Swedish and the Indian film industries. It was instrumental in arranging the first Bollywood production to Stockholm in 2004. It hosted the first Indian Film Festival in 2007 which was guested by the legendary Dev Anand. It facilitated the telecasting of 5 Bollywood films on national SVT. It is actively engaged in promoting cooperation between the Swedish and Indian film industries and acquainting mainstream Swedes to the world of Indian cinema. |

Svenskt Tenn was founded in 1924 by designer and drawing teacher Estrid Ericson (1894-1981). In 1934, she began her lifelong collaboration with Josef Frank, already a well-known architect, urban planner and designer, who had recently left Austria to take up residence in Sweden. Together, the two laid the foundations for the interior design philosophy that Svenskt Tenn has since come to represent, combining Estrid Ericson’s artistic talent and entrepreneurial spirit with Josef Frank’s inspired and timeless designs to form what was soon to become a highly successful concept. Dansens Hus is the Sweden’s largest stage for guest performances in the field of dance. We present contemporary dance from all over the world. On our two stages you can see almost every week a new dance performance. Dansens Hus is situated in the city centre of Stockholm only a 10 minute walk to the Central station.Dansens Hus officially opened 1991, and is actively working to strengthen the role of contemporary dance in Sweden. In addition to showing performances we arrange seminars, lectures, workshops and exhibitions.
