Business Sweden continuously monitor how Swedish companies are working with their distributors in India. During 2014, they conducted a more in-depth study on swedish companies working through distributors. They were asked how they set up the network, and how they are work to manage it. The result shows some unique insights in best practices in India. Some of the insights from this report follows below and will be presented by Mr Gustav Wennerholm, Head of Business Sweden Bangalore.
– During the last 5 years, 20% of the companies have increased their turnover by 30% per year, while 50% remain on 2009 year level. What makes the successful different?
