Will India be the first nation to put a manned space flight on Mars. Will the Indian space program fix India’s ravaging poverty? Or is it just a waste of money?

At the Namaste Stockholm Festival we focus on India’s space program tighter with science journalist Waldemar Ingdahl. Hear him talk about the history of Indian spaceflight, from the hard choices of the pioneers in the early 1970s, the success of the 2010’s and the opportunities and challenges that await Indian technological proficiency now. Ingdahl also discusses his interview with U.R. Rao, the father of the Indian satellite program and early associate of the Indian Space Research Organisation legendary founder Vikram Sarabhai.
