Event Details
The people in India are well educated, ambitious and entrepreneurial. There is a rapidly growing middle-class with a diverse talent pool which is also very attractive to Sweden and Swedish companies. India’s many world-class businesses are adept at creating markets and innovating industries. India’s competent and scalable workforce is a definite advantage. Stockholm needs talent and today Indians make up almost 1/5th of all the new talent moving into the City. Many of them come with extremely qualified spouses that can also contribute to the city. Stockholm wants to attract more Indians to move to Stockholm. However, there are issues with regards to immigration that are proving a hindrance to attract more Indians. What can Stockholm City and Sweden do to make it easier for Indians to come and work in Sweden? What issues need to be addressed here and what is the path forward? Indian ICT companies should give insights along with Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
