In collaboration with the East Asian Museum and Indian Embassy, we are very happy to bring India Day to East Asian Museum.

1. Interactive session on modern dances by Astad Deboo, an  Indian contemporary dancer and choreographer trained in Indian classical dance of ‘Kathak’ and ‘Kathakali’  to create a dance form that is unique to him, a pioneer of modern Indian dance.
2. Dance performance and interactive session by Ms. Wahida, a Bangladeshi dancer, trained in the dance form of ‘Kathak’.
3. Interactive Session and performance by Mr. Avikk Parkour, well know choreographer and Bollywood dance performer from Latvia
4. Performance by Uppsala Indian Choir who will be presenting different songs.
5. The India Day will also feature two artisans who will be until 29th. One works with miniature paintings and the other with shawls.
