On the 15th of August 2017 India celebrates 70 years of Independence, Air India starts to fly to Stockholm and Stockholm City arranges the Stockholm Culture Festival with the Theme India. To celebrate this, The Indian Embassy in Sweden and India Unlimited will arrange a business day on the 17th of August looking at the future of India. This will also act as a curtain raiser for the Mega Make in India Event that is to take place from the 11-13 October 2017.

We want to look at the future of India in the next 30 years and how Sweden can play a role in its change. How we can combine India’s existing innovative talent and technology development capacity, market, societal and sustainable development needs with Sweden’s sustainable R&D, Innovation, Design and Technology to create a blueprint for the future leading to a Smart India @100.
