Today the manufacturing process itself has to be smart, which means that precise decisions in the manufacturing process are more important than ever. Using the correct data input a factory’s process time, order scheduling, staffing and pricing can all be fully automated digitalized.
India has undertaken a massive project to develop industrial infrastructure in a bid to realize the vision of transforming the nation into an economic powerhouse where manufacturing comprises 25% of GDP. The project envisions the development of five industrial corridors which are currently at various stages of implementation. How have Swedish companies aligned their market strategies with this opportunity?
India needs huge investments to finance these infrastructural projects and to sustain over 8% annual growth. While the government will contribute with a large part of this investment, a substantial amount is expected to come from Private Public Partnership (PPP) models. Here you’ll find a presentation of tried-and-true models, including PPPs, and international successes that can be replicated in India.
