The Embassy of India and India Unlimited are celebrating diversity through the different events to be hosted this spring. In partnership with Millesgården we proudly present the exhibition Tagore to Ray. Visitors may experience a new side of the iconic Rabindranath Tagore and Satyajit Ray known for the stories they told and their unique narratives. Ray was not only a director, Tagore was not merely an author, both were in fact skillful illustrators. We welcome you to explore just how diverse these talented artists were by bringing you a selection of their artwork ranging from psychedelic color drawings, to black and white sketches with darker motives.

Inauguration the 23rd of April 11.00, in presence of Tagore to Ray expert Mr. Ujjal Chakraborty. Accompanied by the Tagore dance group of Ms. Sangita Paul which will perform with music and dances inspired by Tagore and Ray.
