Event Details

The majority led government lead by Prime Minister Modi is setting a new vision for India with exceptional development & growth, removal of poverty, boosting infrastructure, cleaning up India, digital India. The new Make in India campaign will boost India’s manufacturing infrastructure and capacity for innovation and is poised for phenomenal growth: new smart cities and industrial clusters, being developed in identified industrial corridors having connectivity, new youth-focused programs and institutions dedicated to developing specialized skills. Most importantly, the Make in India program represents an attitudinal shift in how India relates to investors: not as a permit-issuing authority, but as a true business partner. Sweden companies are global leaders in many of the areas vital for India’s growth. Sweden shares many vital values with India such as democracy and respect for diversity and a commitment to protecting the environment. How can it be a partner in India’s journey to inclusive sustainable growth? How can we set the agenda for a brighter shared future with vision and values?
