	Adil Zainulbhai joined McKinsey in 1979 and spent 24 years in the United States before returning to Mumbai in 2004 to help grow the firm’s presence in India. He is now a senior advisor to our Indian offices. Adil counsels the CEOs of many of India’s largest companies in a range of industries, including infrastructure, metals and mining, financial services, and pharmaceuticals—and he has helped several such companies become global leaders. He has also helped leading multinational companies build large, profitable businesses in India.
	Alan Mamedi is the CEO and Co-Founder of Truecaller, the world’s largest verified mobile phone community with more than 50 million users globally. In this position, Alan focuses on product development and innovation, and charting the strategic roadmap for the company’s success.Already a proven entrepreneur at age 29, Alan co-founded two other startups in Sweden alongside his business partner Nami Zarringhalam: Möbeljakt, which became the largest search engine for home interiors and Jobbigt.se, the largest network for employee reviews. He also founded Bidding.se, an auction site that combined strategic gameplay with the traditional online auction formula, which was acquired in 2009.Prior to Truecaller, Alan was the Chief Architect for the Device Management Server at Birdstep Technology, a company specializing in embedded data systems that is currently listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (BIRD).Alan lives in Stockholm with his wife and daughter, and is an alumnus of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden where he holds a degree in Computer Science.
	Amit Bajaj is the head of Tata Consultancy Service’s North European operations, a unit which spans 8 countries (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) and represented through five TCS offices. Servicing 70+ clients with approximately 5000 consultants, TCS has had over two decades of operations in the region and is today a mainstream player servicing clients across industry verticals. Amit is a member of the European leadership team and has served in the company for 15 years.
	Anders Grundströmer Managing Director, Scania Commercial Vehicles India and Senior Vice President, Scania Group. Anders Grundströmer is a Master of Business Management. After graduating in 1977, he started his career at SAAB-Car division and held several roles and responsibilities at various levels for over 15 years. In 1992 he joined Scania, and was appointed Regional Sales Director, Nordic and Eastern Region Europe in 1996. Anders took on the challenge to develop Scania distributorship concept in Europe as Managing Director, Scania Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2000, and later as Managing Director of Scania in Netherlands and the BeNeLux Business Unit between 2004 and 2008. He held the position of Executive Regional Director for Western and Southern Europe (WSE) Region in 2008. In the beginning of 2013, Anders was appointed as Managing Director, Scania Commercial Vehicles India and he also serves as Senior Vice President, Scania Group.
	Anil Raj CEO and Co-Founder, OMC Power Anil is a veteran of the telecom industry with roots tracing back to the earliest days of mobile telecom. Anil was the start-up CEO of Hutchison in India and launched the country’s very first mobile network. He started his career at Ericsson where he held a number of senior management positions in Sweden and in Asia Pacific. As Head of Ericsson’s Smartphone Business Unit, he was responsible for launching the world’s first smartphone and first Bluetooth product. He also headed Ericsson’s companies in India and Indonesia establishing the company as the market leader. While at Ericsson, he also spearhead the merger of Ericsson’s and Sony’s handset businesses into Sony Ericsson and went on to forge the Symbian initiative where he also served as Chairman.
	Anna Kinberg Batra is Parliament Group Leader of the Moderate Party, Sweden.
	Anna Lithagen is Senior Advisor and Project Manager with the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, with the program Promoting Women’s Entrepreneurship. Mrs. Lithagen is managing the government commissioned initiative ‘Golden Rules of Leadership’, aiming for more women to take on leadership positions as entrepreneurs and business owners, and in society at large. Previously, Anna Lithagen has been facilitator and project manager for the Leadership Subcommittee with Hillary Rodham Clinton’s ‘International Council on Women’s Business Leadership’. Anna Lithagen is former Head of Section with the International Secretariat at the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications. She has been employed by the U.S. State Department and has previously worked with the Swedish Trade Council in Madrid, Spain.
	Dr. Arabinda MitraAdvisor and Head, International Bilateral Cooperation Division, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. As a Nehru Scholar, Dr. Mitra did his PhD in Marine Geology from the University of Cambridge, UK (1991). As an Earth Scientist by training, he has held various positions in the Departments of Atomic Energy, Ocean Development and Science & Technology of the Government of India. He played a pivotal role in formulating the long-term strategy of the Indian Antarctic program. In 2011, Dr. Mitra was appointed as the Advisor & Head of International Bilateral Cooperation of the Department of Science & Technology. In this role he oversees India’s global science, technology and innovation engagements with nearly 43 countries across the globe.
	Arnab Riingo Banerjee. An MBA, Riingo has over 20years of advertising experience and was last engaged to Grey worldwide as their country head in Bangladesh. He is a qualified director, cinematographer, editor and colorist from the Kantana, a professional list production set up at Thailand and has shot over 200 tv commercials, 100 videos, 12 full length feature films and over 75 made-for-cable movies. He has initiated the emergence of High Definition Cinema in Eastern India and has made videos for National and International Bands (Junoon, LRB, James, Bickram Ghosh, Pete Lockett, Indian Ocean, Babul Supriyo, etc) and has been associated with a number of NGOs for producing Social Message films. He owns Ring A Bell Films which is one of Kolkata’s most advanced high end Digital Cinema Edit and DI setups.
	Arun Maira is a Member of the Planning Commission chaired by the Prime Minister of India. In this ministerial level position, he is responsible for facilitating the shaping of policies and programs relating to industrialisation and urbanisation in the country, and tourism. He is a frequent speaker at international forums on the future of India. He writes regularly in the Economic Times in India and other management and business journals. Prior to his appointment on the Planning Commission, Arun Maira has served on the boards of several large Indian companies, including companies in the Tata, Birla, Godrej, Hero, and Mahindra Groups. He has been a Member of The Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) National Council for many years, as well as Chairman of several of CII’s National Councils, including the National Council for Corporate Governance, and Chairman of CII’s Leadership Summit.
	Bandana Tewari As the head of Vogue India’s Fashion Features section, responsible for planning, visualizing and ideating fashion features for the ultimate style bible, Bandana Tewari has one of the most enviable jobs in Indian fashion. Her ringside view of the rapidly evolving industry coupled with her signature ability to take the long view in every commentary has made her one of the nation’s foremost authorities on fashion.
	Banashri Bose Harrison Ambassador of the Republic of India to Sweden and Latvia. Before she joined the Indian diplomatic service in 1981, Banashri . who got her Master’s degree with honours from the Delhi School of Economics, she taught at her alma mater, Miranda House for four thoroughly enjoyable years. In her 33 year career as a diplomat, she has dealt with a wide range of responsibilities both in India and abroad. Her recent assignments include heading the Commercial section in the Indian Embassy in Washington and subsequently, the Central Europe Division in the Ministry of External Affairs. She took up the position of Ambassador of India to Sweden on August 9, 2012. She has studied International Relations at Oxford University and obtained an M. Phil degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from the University of Chennai.
	Camilla Pontén is the principal at two successful design schools in Stockholm: Stockholms Tillskärarakademi and Textila Gymnasiet. Both schools have a partnership with the Arch Academy of Design in Jaipur, India. Camilla Pontén and Archana Surana, the founder of the Arch Academy of Design, started this partnership in 2010 to let all students get a wider perspective on fashion and design, in the cultural, technical and developing areas. We have a student exchange program every year, and will continue with this partnership in the future.
	Carani Sanjeevi, Dr Senior Advisor for Life Science, Business Sweden and Professor at Karolinska Institutet. Dr Sanjeevi is a Professor at the Department of Medicine at Karolinska Institutet (KI) in Stockholm. He is also Senior Advisor to Innovation Office of Karolinska Institutet. He has earlier served as KI’s scientific coordinator for India from 2000-2012. His area of research interest is Diabetes, more so, Diabetes in the young and his research drop is located at the Center for Molecular Medicine. He joined KI in 1989. Dr. Sanjeevi is Senior Advisor for Life Science at Business Sweden in Stockholm, Advisor to TATA Capital Healthcare Fund in India, HBM Healcare Fund, Switzerland, member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Seraxis Inc, USA, Chellarams Diabetes Institute in Pune, 3Netra in Bangalore. He serves in the Editorial Board of several scientific journal and has edited a “Immunology of Diabetes” series (of 5 volumes) for Annals of New York Academy of Sciences, USA.
	Christian Johansson is a BSc Business Administration, Stockholm Sweden and AMP diploma INSEAD, France. He serves as Chief Financial Officer at Gunnebo AB (publ) a position he has held since April 1, 2013.Before this has held a number of leading financial positions within Volvo Group, ABB as well as Alfa Laval Group; among these as CFO for Volvo Trucks. He has also been Regional Manager for Central & Eastern Europe in ABB Service
	Christian Kinch is the owner and the Chairman of the company Bactiguard AB. 	Christopher Podgorski Senior Vice President Trucks, Sales and Marketing, Scania. With the background of a degree in Business Administration specialised in Marketing, Christopher Podgorski entered the automotive sphere in 1986 joining the Caterpillar organisation, where he developed a career as sales manager within the Heavy Construction, Mining & Paving Segments in Brazil. He joined Scania Latin America in 1998, taking up a position within Buses & Coaches Sales & Marketing and from 1999 acted as Sales & Marketing Executive Manager for Trucks & Buses for Latin American markets. In 2000 he became Managing Director of Scania in Mexico and in 2003 he became the MD for Scania’s operations in Brazil. In 2010 he was appointed Vice President, responsible for Franchise & Factory Sales for Scania in Latin America. Since 1 January 2013, he holds the position of Senior Vice President Trucks at Scania Head Office in Södertälje, Sweden.
	Daniel Johansson is the State Secretary to the Minister for Information Technology and Energy, Anna-Karin Hatt. His areas of responsibility are information society, energy and environmental technologies. He has previously served as political advisor in the Prime Minister’s office and has a long experience as chief dealer in the private banking sector.
	David Relan A photographer, designer, researcher, and policy researcher. David is passionately devoted to the cause of making our common spaces and places more aesthetically pleasing in an authentic manner. He is Indian, European, and Canadian; all of which have given him an eye for those things hidden. His recent projects involve architectural photography, acrobatic photography, food policy research, drug policy research, graphic design, and communication.
	David Stahl has studied Comparative Religion with particular focus on Indian religions at the University of Lund, and Indology at the University of Stockholm. He is a MA (Lund) with Comparative Religion as major and MA (Stockholm) with Indology as -major. He worked as assistant at Dep. of Indology, University of Stockholm, 1977-1984, and has since worked as a India Analyst in his own company, Empatum, and is often engaged by the corporate sector, mass media companies and organizations. He has been President of the Swedish-Indian Society 2004-2010. He has also been involved in relief work among refugees in India and is the editor of “India Newsletter” which is published five times a year. He has also been engaged as tour guide for cultural trips to India. He has done extensive travel in large parts of India, has lived in India during different periods and is now partially based in Cochin.
	Deepak Premnarayen is an experienced entrepreneur and business leader. He founded the ICS Group in 1998 with interests in real estate, financial services and hospitality. The Group has partnered with international domain leaders like Old Mutual Property (South Africa), Bentel Associates (South Africa) and Secure Parking (Australia) for property development & management and asset management services, architectural design services and car park management services respectively. The Group has recently forayed into the luxury boutique hospitality space and has partnered Mantis International (South Africa) for the Indian sub-continent. Mr. Premnarayen has led the Group’s foray into these diverse sectors. He continues to serve as the Executive Chairman of the Group and has had an illustrious career spanning 4 decades, with strong relationships across the Indian corporate sector
	Dheeraj Akolkar As a writer, director, cinematographer and producer, his own work includes the short films Jyotirgamaya – Lead Me to the Light (IDPA Awards for Excellence 2005: Best Script and Best Editing), Whatever! (ICE 2006 2nd Best Film of the Festival), and more. He works between the UK, India and Scandinavia on a slate of five films under his London based production company Vardo Films. Dheeraj is the associate director of an independent film festival called Bombay Mix and founder of a charity called Grassroots Stories that specializes in making films that can inspire social change. His latest film is Liv and Ingmar (2012).
	Divya Thakur Passionate about all things Indian, Divya is a multi-disciplinary designer, who, through her various endeavours, seeks to create a relevant identity for Indian design – one that is not bound by its origin, medium, or time. Having spent nearly a decade in advertising and design, Divya set up Design Temple in 1999. Since then, her work has shown and retailed at destinations across the globe. Her approach to the retail sector is organic and experimental. Divya’s witty, informative, and impeccably finished products speak a contemporary Indian design language.In 2011, Divya was invited to participate in Wallpaper Handmade* at the Salone Del Mobile, Milan. She was commissioned by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London in 2007; wherein she presented and curated her take on Contemporary India. She has also showcased the unorganized design sector with an exhibition titled Indigenous India in 2004, Milan.
	Ewa Kumlin is CEO of Svensk Form and Form / Mandelgren Magazine AB, since December 2004. After living abroad for 17 years – in Brazil, Athens, NY and Tokyo – Ewa came to Sweden to encourage the innovation of a vibrant home design landscape. Svensk Form is a leading non-profit organization that promotes the government’s mission to encourage Swedish design and architecture, both nationally and internationally. Ewa supports many young experimental designers. With a passionate commitment and interest, she leads Svensk Form’s business forward.

	Fredrika Ornbrant Consul General of Sweden to Mumbai since September 2012. Ms. Ornbrant is a graduate from Uppsala University in Sweden and has served in the Swedish Foreign Service since 1999. Her most recent posting was in New York, where she worked for the Swedish Mission at the UN. Ms. Ornbrant has held various posts within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs covering areas such as humanitarian assistance, disarmament and multilateral trade. Before entering the Foreign Service, she worked as a political advisor to a Minister for Finance. Ms. Ornbrant has also worked in the European Parliament.
	Håkan Kingstedt is the Chairman of Sweden India Business Council, Former CEO Sandvik in India for 7 years. Presently he is also a Senior Advisor to SME companies. Håkan has a strong profile in leadership, strategic analyses and execution. Chairperson, board member with experience from Asia and Europe.
	Henrik von Arnold Director, Stockholm Convention Bureau, Stockholm Visitors Board. Henrik von Arnold has a diverse background as an officer in the Swedish army, a business policy officer at the chamber of commerce, project manager for city events and the final fifteen years as director of the convention bureaux in Gothenburg and Stockholm. His experience of India is limited. He made a mixed private / business trip to Goa and to the city of Hydrarabad, in the autumn of 2011.

	K. P. Nayar New Delhi-based Consulting Editor of “The Telegraph”, was Chief Diplomatic Editor & Correspondent for the Americas of the daily until April 2014. “The Telegraph” is an Indian newspaper with a daily circulation of more than half a million copies. “KP”, as he is popularly known, brings to journalism nearly 40 years of experience. He has worked as an Editor and Correspondent in Asia, Europe and America and has launched green field media ventures in India and the Middle East. At the end of the Cold war, when ‘real’ debates about Indian foreign policy began, KP, who had returned home after 12 years outside his country, was the first journalist in any Indian newspaper to be appointed “Diplomatic Editor” with a mandate to open up a public discourse on Indian diplomacy. He is a frequent commentator on South Asian issues on global radio and television. In addition to his work in the media, KP has been a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University, England, and at the Henry L Stimson Center in Washington DC. He was also part of a research team for the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), whose work on arms procurement decision-making in six countries has been published as a book by the Oxford University Press.
	K. Srinath Reddy, Professor is President of the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) and formerly headed the Department of Cardiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Widely regarded as an international leader of preventive cardiology, Prof. Reddy has been a researcher, teacher, policy enabler, advocate and activist who has worked to promote cardiovascular health, tobacco control, chronic disease prevention and healthy living across the lifespan. He is also the President of the World Heart Federation (2013-14). Prof. Reddy is a member of the Leadership Council of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (ww.unsdsn.org), established to assist the United Nations in developing the post-2015 goals for sustainable development and chairs the Thematic Group on Health in the SDSN. His contributions to public health globally, have been recognized through several awards and honours.
	Karin Rådström Director Fleet and Driver Services, Scania, After obtaining her Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management, Karin Rådström joined Scania as a management trainee in 2004. She started her career at Scania working with the launch of a new truck series, responsible for training truck bodybuilders globally. Between 2008-2010 Karin worked part-time as a product planner within Fleet management, and at the same time she was a professional athlete on the Swedish national team in rowing, participating in two World Championships. Since 2012 Karin Rådström is Director of Fleet and Driver services, the fastest growing business area within Scania. She was one of the selected to represent Scania in the project “Battle of the Numbers”.
	Kjell-Håkan Närfelt has been working with technology driven business development and R&D for more than 20 years in different management positions. He has also served as a board member and advisor to several R&D based start-ups during his time as an investment director in a corporate venture and as partner in a seed investment company.He has a research background in computer science which resulted in an academic spin-off that encouraged him to leave academia and to exploit the research results in a commercial context. Mr Närfelt is currently working at VINNOVA (the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems) as a Chief Strategy Officer.
	Klas Eklund is the Senior Economist of SEB and Adjunct Professor of Economics, Lund University. He has previously worked in the Ministry of Finance and in the Cabinet office, as advisor to the Prime Minister. He has been on the Board of the Riksbank, an advisor to the President of the European Commission and has chaired several government commissions. Mr Eklund is a prolific writer, having published some 900 articles, columns and books, including the best-selling Swedish economics text book, a book on China and a thriller about murder and insider leaks at the Ministry of Finance. He is an advisor to the Sweden India Business Council.
	KOUNTEYA SINHA is presently the UK and Europe correspondent of The Times of India – the world’s largest English newspaper. Explorer, story teller, animal tracker and photographer with a compulsive knack of running away from home since the age of five, award winning journalist Kounteya Sinha is one of India’s youngest ever foreign correspondents. In just seven years with The Times, Kounteya has to his credit over 3600 articles – from foreign policy, defence, espionage to arts, culture and travel.
	Lars-Olof Lindgren is the Chairman & MD of Saab India Technologies Pvt. Ltd. He has previously served as Sweden’s Ambassador to India before t aking up this position. In his earlier career he was the State Secretary to the Prime Minister responsible for EU and Foreign Affairs issues. Ambassador Lindgren has also served as State Secretary at the Ministry of Trade and Industry responsible for trade issues and earlier served as a Director General for Trade at the Foreign Ministry. Between 1995 and 2002 he was a Deputy Permanent representative at the European Union responsible for Coreper-1 issues. He has also worked at The Swedish Trade Union Confederation. The Swedish Embassy in Beijing and the Swedish OECD-delegation in Paris. Ambassador Lindgren has a degree from the Stockholm School of Economics.
	Lars Winter. A Technical Licentiate from the Royal Institute in Stockholm (KTH) who has been active in different management positions at several of the large Forest Industries in Sweden such as SCA Graphic Papers, M-real (current Metsä Board), Arctic Paper, Holmen Paper and since 2012 CEO of Domsjö Fabriker AB. Lars has been engaged in several different product and process developments for graphical papers and pulps. In Domsjö Fabriker this engagement is expanded to the further development of the multitude of products that are manufactured by the Biorefinery.
	LENA FURMARK R N, M. Sc. State Secretary, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, Sweden. Before joining the Ministry in 2010 Lena Furmark was the CEO of Caritea, a Swedish consultancy company focusing on business intelligence and healthcare change management. Between 2002 and 2008, Mrs Furmark worked for Microsoft Corporation as Healthcare Business Development Manager in Sweden and Western Europe. Before that she was employed by the Federation of the County Councils in Sweden where she served as Director of the Executive Board Office. Mrs Furmark has also served as Director of Office in the Swedish Parliament and has had several expert- and consultancy assignments in Swedish parliamentary commissions and for the UN. Lena Furmark has served as a member of several boards i e Swedish Red Cross, Systembolaget, the Swedish Alcohol Retail Monopoly, and Swedish Pharmacy International Inc. 	Marcus Wallenberg is since 2005 the Chairman of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB), a North European financial group for 400,000 corporate customers, and 5 million private customers. SEB has local presence in the Nordic and Baltic countries and Germany. Marcus Wallenberg is also the Chairman of LKAB, Saab AB and Foundation Asset Management AB, and serves on the boards of Investor AB, AstraZeneca Plc, Stora Enso Oyj, the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, Temasek Holdings Ltd and EQT Holdings AB.Marcus Wallenberg is Vice-Chairman and Treasurer of IIF (Institute of International Finance). Marcus Wallenberg held the position as Chairman and Honorary Chairman of ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) from 2006 to July 2010. From 1999 to 2005, Mr Wallenberg was President and CEO of Investor AB, after having served as Executive Vice-President of the company for six years. Prior to this he was Director of Stora Feldmühle in Düsseldorf for three years. Marcus Wallenberg earned a B. Sc of Foreign Service from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and began his career at Citibank in New York 1980, followed by various positions at Deutsche Bank in Germany, S G Warburg Co Ltd in London and Citicorp in Hong Kong.
	MARIA BHARDWAJ is one of Sweden`s leading artist in Indian dance. With a great passion for Indian culture and extensive experience, she delivers beautiful art on stage. She is currently working as an artist, choreographer and instructor for Bollywood, Kathak and Bhangra dance in Sweden. She founded her dance group NRITYA DARPAN in 2006 along with some of her talented students. She gets her inspiration through her longer stays in India and by the great kathak guru Pt. Birju Maharaj of Kathak Institute Kalashram.
	MARIA HELLING CEO, Swecare. Maria holds a degree of M.Sc. in Political Science from Uppsala University and has previously worked as Head of Section at the Division for EU and International Affairs, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, Sweden. Since 2011, she is the chief executive officer of Swecare Foundation, which promotes the export of Swedish Health care and Life Science.
